When I was a child I was given an experiment in science class. You’ve probably done this one as well. Beneath a sheet of paper you place a magnet, atop the paper, you sprinkle iron filings. The filings then arrange themselves, almost magically, according to the invisible magnetic fields present in the magnet beneath the paper. This was what I sought out to show with this body of work; the intricate patterns and interactions of magnetic fields.
